Visited the 17th and 18th century yesterday.

Went to Fort Number 4 with my father and son yesterday. Once the northern most habitation on North America for the British Empire it's now a museum of living history. The fort is a square of multiple homes and emergency shelters with a great hall and a small tower. It was essentially the little keep on the borderlands.

There were a couple hundred re-enactors there and a faux-battle that I enjoyed watching. Showing my son a little piece of our history was fun, get out there share the world with your family.
